Descension Rate was a band I formed back in 2004. We started off as industrial metal, but by 2009, we were transitioning into blackened death metal territory. Everybody in the band was a huge nerd for Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series, so we decided to write a bunch of songs about it.

This was intended as Part 1 of a two-part collection of Dark Tower-inspired songs. Descension Rate disbanded in 2012 before the second album was completed.
